The neighborhood's age works in its favor here: trees that were saplings when Holly Ridge was built are now full-grown, so streets have real shade and the kind of settled look that takes decades to happen on its own.
Everyday errands — groceries, coffee, a quick dinner out — are a short drive along the commercial corridors near Camas Meadows, rather than a planned trip across town.
Parks, Trails & Things to Do Near Holly Ridge
Prune Hill greenspace sits directly behind a number of Holly Ridge properties, which means wooded open space is accessible without getting in a car.
Lacamas Lake adds trail access and water recreation close enough to use on a regular basis rather than save for occasional outings.
Getting Around
SR-14 is the main route toward Portland, and access toward Vancouver is fairly direct from this part of Camas — actual drive times still vary by time of day, so it's worth testing before relying on an estimate.
